Yes !! I know it’s a little confusing & I question the  same thing , how can one product work as two & Be a Liquid spray ??

Cecilia Wong knows how to make magic !  The reason why this product is a serum is  because it functions just like a serum in the sense that serum provide elements of nourish , healing & restore to are  skin through the combination benefits of oils, extracts,plants & etc.  In which help to boost are skin to become more healthy looking , which is what we want  RIGHT !  The magic of this  product  which I think is Genius is that this element was put in a toner function product . Making it more then just a toner but instead a toner that helps to hydrated your skin with Rose water  hydrosol at the same time have skin restore properties  of  calming, Anit-aging ,brightening with rose geranium oil, Lemon, Papaya leaf  & Bilberry .

 My experiences & results using :

I been using the  Rose Toner for  the past six months everyday as part of my skin care routine . I tend to have skin issues like redness, dull skin& flakiness specially once fall/winter months roll in as my comb skin type becomes more dry . I use it as a regular toner that then I  follow with organic  jojoba oil as my skin moisturizes. Keeping my skin care simple is important key  element specially when testing out a product functions &  to see the true results .

Product  scent/function:  The  Rose Toner has a  divine scent of fresh roses . So much so that it smells like if I just pick out a fresh rose from my garden .I tend to stay away from floral scents  due to my allergies but this toner didn’t tiger my allergies at all. THANK GOODNESS ! As its a light and not over powerful smell of roses at all.

The spray gives a even spray out  one that is not harsh but instead pleasant without over spraying product into my face . It just gives the right amount , I sprayed it  twice on my face  as my preferences .

Quick 1 Month Product Results  That I Notice  in my skin:  While using  this rose toner  I did notice some changes where occurring  quickly within a month use . My skin had less dry spots in which is a Big issue that  I have even when I was using cream or balms in my  skin ,my dry spots would not go away.  With the Rose Toner it  result that my dry spots where slowly healing & became less and less common of a skin issue for me . Meaning my dry spot instead of sticking around they where slowly going away and not reappearing .

Long Term Product Results That I notice in my skin after 6 months of use : 

As mention I have issue with dry spots & dull skin , after using this product continuously for 6 months my dry spots where no longer a issue . They healed away which result to  having a much smooth skin complexion and looking less dull . My skin just became more smooth making it look healthy  and my makeup end up looking  flawless . So much so that people where asking me what I was doing different because my skin look so great.

Over all thoughts & would I re-buy this product……..

This Rose Toner maybe consider high price for a $40 , 3.5 Oz bottle  . And I agree ! But I used the product for 6  months and I still have a half bottle of product !!! That’s using it everyday .  So  that mean this product would last me at least for close to 8 months to a 1  whole year . Meaning I am saving 🙂 . Instead of having to buy a product every month or two to replace it .

The results that I got over time in using this Rose Toner have been amazing to me ! My skin became less dry, no more dry spots & ended with a smooth complexion.  A result that I have not had with any  other toner that I’ve  use and believe me I try many !!  This one truly did more just just spray water on my face it actually help  my skin heal and its a change I notice just by feeling my skin  & how my makeup looks. With that said YES I would re-buy in a heart BEAT !!!! !

A local brand base out of New York City and that has one of my favorite SPA & people in one location in the west side know as Savor Spa , do yourself a favorite in 2016 visit ! Back , to the main point “Pumpkin Serum” . This serum has been my highlight in 2015 for having glow & healthy looking skin . I been using it all through 2015 and have notice a differences in my skin look in that it has a even color tone and has heal old acne spot . Celcilia Wong is a person that I got the pleasure to know and meet within the green community. Her personal Skincare Line focus on healing within and out . And just in 2015 She re-brand her line to a beautiful chic and elegant look in which I got a chance to see in person during the Indie Beauty Expo  event . I am a big fan of the line & pick up a new toner since I was in a hunt for a new one . I got the Rose Serum Spray which is a very unique product as it is just like a spray toner but is filled with beautiful anti-aging extract ingredients that provide nourish elements for the skin to heal, rebuild inside & out .  I been using it for over 6 months and I just love this this product more and more in every use ! I am of course jump on it and got the refill compact to test it out .  AS you may notice in the photo above it got a look of love and its because I JUST FELT IN LOVE !  It give a medium coverage with a flawless look that is very natural looking in your skin. It does not make your skin dry neither does it get into fine lines or dry spot areas like  dry powers do. It addition to other powers this one gives nourish elements  to the skin as it contains extracts & oils  that are full of antioxidants .  It My BOOK this is the best foundation I’ve used in along time  and has my skin supper happy , so much so that its now my bag staple of 2015 ! The man that We all love in Green Beauty  is “Josh Rosebrook ”  !!

I am  fill with great joy & grace for 2015 for getting to meet  & share time  with  Josh this year during some of the green beauty events  .  His hair products are know for been the best and been effective in getting that great hair . Just this year Josh explore other areas of skincare care and launch a few new products  that include Nutrient Day Cream  -Tint . This product smells just as beautiful & divine as his whole line and it effectiveness & results always out match my expectations . The Nutrient Day Cream -Tint  goes on smooth and sinks right into the skin as the tint color helps to even out redness making it a great base product for power or a quick effortless  day looks for great looking skin.  5. Meow Meow  Tweet Limited Edition Deodorant Cream, Baking soda Free in Lavender Scent

Meow Meow is one of the brands in my collection  that been in my shelf since they first launch and continues to cover my shelf today ! It been amazing to see Tara & Jeff & their two   Cat’s owners of Meow Meow tweet grow over time & expand to new heights  ! So much so that I think they have their cat town up in Up State New York Now  !

This year the brand has been expanding their brand  with their new  pumpkin mask , soaps and much more including a limited edition product for fight of Breast cancer  benefit fund  the  baking soda  free lavender scent Deodorant ! A product that had me with excitement as I been crossing fingers & toes that they would launch a new scent . 6. Brooklyn Candle Studio in Pumpkin 

This year I got the great chance to discover Brooklyn as I did a lot of short trips  and make a lot of great discoveries include going to the official space of where magic happens in Brooklyn Candle Studio !  These candles are  hand crafted made with  100 % soy wax and scented with essential oils .  By the way the their studio smells like heaven on earth . I pick up the  travel size pumpkin  candle  as a pumpkin lover that I am I had to have it . The scent is just like been out in a fall day as a freshly baked pumpkin pie gets pulled out the oven , it smell just like this ! By far the best candle scent  that has you spice up all year long ! an’t wait to pick up more of these candles and try new scents because they real add that touch of home  even when your traveling from state to state . A new  staple in my farm house is Brooklyn Candles studio !!

It addition to been a serum “food for your skin” best part  is  that its a light oil that sinks right into your skin . Then I rise it off with a wash cloth to remove it with warm water. Given me a result of a healthy looking skin and LOVE how it nourish my dry spots on my skin  !!! which is a big issue for me during this time as the temperature Here in PA can’t decide if it was to be 60 or 25 degrees !!

Rubbing its in the skin is like a therapy session of self love & calmness !!!  I complete feel of luxury & wellness in a  jar !

Its summer  & a Long Holiday weekend as we try to hang on to summer !  Its time to hit the out doors ! And the two things that are important are staying hydrated + wearing your SPF . Texture is everything …..

what makes the Island Block Organics different & impress me was its texture !! It has a smooth cream texture that is yet light and sink right in once you rub the cream into the skin AS YOU CAN SEE IN ABOVE PHOTO .

It does not give me the Casper affect of leaving me looking like a ghost !!! That’s a WIN WIN . In addition to  Not been sticky or leaving your skin feeling heavy or like you have another layer skin … YOU know what I MEAN 🙂

One thing that attracted me is that it is a roll up deodorant stick , which is not common found and was super exciting that this brand  Rustic MAKA created one !

I love how simple the ingredient are and how many of them are actually wild crafted ingredients that indicated that your getting the the best goodies of nature in less words  🙂 .

This does have Baking soda if you are sensitive to this ingredient .

Smooth Texture & a heaven scent of Lavender fields !!

The texture of this deodorant is smooth without feeling like sand or rough when putting on your pitys. Since it has Shea Butter and Coconut oil it actually conduction’s the skin which is what gives it that smooth texture when roll it on  and after washing off  in the shower .

The scent is soo… soo… good love the true lavender scent yet the freshness note at the end due to the Spearmint that adds that touch . The scent is middle range not to strong or too weak . I personally love my deodorants to smell stronger as it makes me make sure that I smell good  specially on hot summer days in Chicago !!

DID it Pass the TEST !!

I used this deodorant as mention while in Chicago summer days in August , wear it while doing morning runs and during my out about walks in the city .

Lasting scent : the scent did have a stronger lasting power and does not wear off easy as the day kept going . My under arms  smell great through the day and hold up on hot summer days in Chicago. SO YES IT PASS THE TEST !!! I am super happy & impress with the lasting power of this deodorant  specially on me as I tend to sweat a lot .

A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY …

I little goes a long way with this product , if you put to much you will feel super lavender smell .. Jejej and your under arms will feel like your sticky . The brand shows in web site how much one should be really using which I thought it was cool.

BUT………..

 The one thing I did notice  and that the brand does state about this product is that it does melt a little which cause the product to loose its solid texture when exposed to heat . When I was in Chicago it did melt on me but as soon as I put it under the cold air it be came solid again. And it did not effect its texture.  That is the only down fall of this  is that its melts but its a fixable , other then that it WORKS GREAT AND DOES THE  WORK TO KEEP ME SMELLING GOOD ALL DAY.

Spring -Up Series 2015 : Spring Skin care Routine

 Spring is passing by as in 2 More weeks or so Summer will be saying Hello !!!!

Which means the season change as the weather gets warmer and my skin needs start to change ! It becomes more oily in the T-Zone area and my dry patch areas are no longer to be seen. As winter my dry patches are the issue in Spring the issues changes to T-zone control as my skin adopted & reacts to weather !!

Below  I present to you my Spring Skin care routine ! 

Fist Step : Cleansing

Although my skin is a little sensitive as its healing from the tough winter . I try to use a face cleanser that is gentle yet help me skin feel clean & radiant !!!Osmia Organic’s Facial Soap In LUZ  is my spring SUN !!  Its been a staple with me for a 1 Year now  & must say its one of my favorite face cleanser as this soap is filled with tomato  paste , pumpkin  , Honey ,Mango , coconut, coconut milk are just a few of the nourish ingredients found in this Golden Bar ! You may seen this product before as it was also feature in my winter skin care routine its a all season facial soap that why I love it so much !

Its leaves the face clean, smelling great & over time of us my skin has been more glow & healthy !

Second Step :  Toner

As mention above my T-zones area be come  more oily due to warm weather , YUPE here comes Combination skin in full Swing ! To control  my oil T-zones I love to use Cucumber products as they work effectively in my skin for this season then any other ingredient ! One of my stables in which I also been using for   a year now is Caru Skincare Cucumber + Lime toner !

what i love about this product its how refreshing it feels in the skin but also how it helps to balance out my skin through the day. I usual have one in my gym bag to refresh up my face after yoga .

Love its simple ingredients of lime & cucumber hydrosol that make it effective & refreshing !

 

Step Three Facial Oil

You may ask your self WHY us oil when you are having oily T-zone  !! The true & trick is   that oil Balances oil  !!! Yupe you hear that Right ! And it works tooo……. Using  facial oil has help me balance my skin but ALSO HAVE LESS ISSUES WITH OILY t-ZONE .  One oil I been using is True Moringa oil !! Its a new oil that I discover and has great nourish to the skin . The one I have is peppermint which is great as it is uplifting to my spirit. This oil is Cold-Press & helps to support farmers & create jobs in Ghana ! A oil that is beautiful in every way !

Step Four Pamper Skin

Are skin always earn that extra care & love ! Something that I do once a week or twice depending how my skin feels & whats been explode too . One that I discover  in the fall is Hana Organic’s Lavender Grains , first I am a lavender lover & second this product doubles as a mask & cleanser . Its a double love for the skin ! Its gentle & smells amazing I use it as a mask to pamper my skin & at the same time relax with lavender. Its simple ingredients of white clay, oats, lavender are just some of the nourish that the skin enjoys every time .

As a mask it leaves the skin relax, deep clean & refresh . As a cleanser it gently  cleans leaving  the skin relax . The lavender smell is light yet giving a relax sense .
