My  Sacred Beauty Saloon Series Experiences & Impact that it made in the Hardest Time of my life ….

The moment I  decide to  attended Sacred Beauty Salon Sessions  for the first time  I was living a life that was running 200 miles a minute.  As I was a care taker for my lovely mom  & helping to support her during Cancer treatment. A time where I was in & out the hospital 7 days a week, going in & out of  10  different  doctors offices & working over night shifts hour. In  which many days turn to  24 hour days of no sleep as I got out of work to then go back to the hospital to take my mom for treatment. Less to say it was a moment my  body was barley standing . And in this moment Sacred Beauty Salon was present to me through social media. When I  decided to  attend I had no idea what to expect but NEW in my heart that I needed to go. So I did, I made the 2 hour trip to NYC  & the first session  became my awakening of self-love that I desperately needed .

Sacred Beauty became my scared space of peace, love & strength  in a moment that I needed it the most. The women in the group & their stories became up lifting energy . As Rebecca guide the sessions with providing tools of self awareness & allowing to see deeper with in are self as women  & the beauty that in us . In less words the experiences & getting together with this group was one that transform my life . Not only me but many of the women gain amazing awaking experience . Speaking for me  I benefit by keeping my positive energy fuel up  as  I was giving it all to give my mom a reason to keep fighting her battle. She too benefit as the good vibes that I got  transmitted to her & I would teach her the makeup tips that I learn which she love .For this reason I have continue to attend the session that have taking place in NYC & Boston. In which all have been a different  learning experiences & reminder of self love.

I forever will be thankful for the Sacred Beauty Salon & all the women that take part. Specialty to  Rebecca for bring us all together & creating a space that is “Sacred with LOVE”. Of course a big thank you to the  Nurse’s that  made it possible for me to attend & feel safe that mom was in good care :). Although, they would wait with excitement to hear what I learn jejej, its a Win-Win for all.

Green Beauty Empties !

Hello Everyone ,

Its been a while since my last post as I been a buzz Bee lately but all positive things ! Been wanting to get back on my blog routine for a while as I have so much to share with you all . I’ll talk more in details in a different post in what I been up too 🙂 .

In this post I will be discussing some empties from my stash that I have in my  Mom’s house . Yes that’s right I have a stash in PA farm home  & one in my Moms home in which both locations are different  :). Lets get too it !!!

Stash #1

1.   Organics Bath CO.  Body scrub in REFRESHMint

Love Love this body scrub ! Its my favorite scent as the mint is  very up lifting  & relaxing specially when coming for a long day of work or travel. This scrub is not over oily and is really soft to the skin. I have tried many scrubs but nothing is like the ones from Organic Bath CO. I always go back to this brand when it comes to body scrubs,they really make the best !  Really been miss this scrub since it ran out !! NEED MORE !

2.        W3ll People  Collection empties 

The W3ll People Expressionist Mascara in Black. I really had high hopes for this mascara but it just slips out of my eyelashes . It just makes me look like a raccoon with in a few hours . Love how it feels  but it just does not want to stick to my eyelashes. This was the second bottle that I use & really wanted to give it a chance but it was a no go !

The w3ll people setting power in  N2. Really enjoy this setting power as it went smooth on my face and set very well with my foundation . It also had a good way to control my T-zones areas & balance my skin. But by the end of the month of  using it the power start to gain a funny smell. I do clean my brushes every week since I am acne prone skin. Found it  wired that it gain a smell. This was not a go sign and I had no choice then to trash it out  😦 . Although it was more then half way done with the powder  I was really bummed  that the product gain a funny smell during the use . Love the product but will not be picking this up.

The w3ll people Stick Foundation N3. Finding a foundation is not easy but this stick foundation worked really well. I love how I did not have to set it with power & made my skin look very natural. It works well to cover dark spots or ant redness in the skin . Its one of my favorite stick foundations and one that works well in term to long lasting & setting into the skin natural . Plus its fast & easy to put on specially when your  in a morning rush ;).

The w3ll people Stick blush in …… I . Love my Stick cream blush by W3ll People it so easy to put on & long lasting all day . This color is a pink Peach tone which is great to get that nice rose look in those dark winter or spring days to brightening up your face . Would love to pick up more colors . Really love the natural color it gives & the great lasting power .

3.   Soap Empties 

Soap may be one of the most items that you find in my empties box . I love soap specially when they smell good & leave your skin soft like Meow Meow Tweet & Osmia Organics Soap do! These two are my favorite brands of soap ever & I always have a big stock of them to make sure I don’t run out . I actually just made a order to both to stock up again as my stash was getting super low !!! What can I say I am a True soap Lovers and these two brands are my LOVE . I love all their scents  by both brand ! And you can’t go wrong with any of them.

4.   Lotus Wei & Cap Beauty  ” Captivator” 

Everything that is Lotus Wei I just love . This brands  product are so much like scent therapy for me. This special mist spray is only found at CAP Beauty store as its a collaboration product. The Captivator smell amazing its sweet yet not a sweet scent but one that is very pleasant with a scent of rose or flowers smell. I enjoy every drop of this bottle and really need to get a new bottle to have. Its just such a nice product to help to up lift you during days work or tasking. A very beautiful mist spray !

5. The Gressa Minimalist Serum Foundation N3.

This is a product that I am not going to discuss in much detail as it earns its own review that I really want to share my thoughts in. Its a favorite foundation to use during the dry & cold months as the oils of this product really  help with my skin becoming over dry. Stay tune for a full review  🙂 .

6. Pacifica Beauty color Quench Lip Tint .

Love a lot of the products that I have tried over time by Pacific Beauty but these lip tints  where not the best. Love the tint color that it gave but it was a very drying lip balm to my lips . It has a lovely scent of blood orange  that I like but wish the formula was more nourishing for the lips .

7.  Meow meow Tweet .

These two product of Meow Meow Tweet are staples in my stash. The Baking soda free deodorant in grapefruit is my all time favorite. Now they also added the Lavender scent in which I love so much too. This deodorant works but really works !! And guess what They are launching the stick version of these this month !!!  Another product is the body oil in the scent  Frankincense + Flower  is a beautiful flower earth scent that is so amazing. Love this body oil as the scent is not over powering and wears so nice through out the day. Big two favorite , although I love everything from Mew meow Tweet and can’t wait to try more of their new products that they have launched .

Small Samples . ( Right side of photo) 

1.SheTerra Body  Butter in Vanilla  was a very over scent product. It was like putting cake in you body scent . If you love SUPER SWEET scent body butter you my like this . IT was not a go for me at all & the texture of the cream was very thick and hard to rub or sink into the skin.

2.Acure Organics  Face oil Argan oil. The  sample  was great to have on the go. Specially if I felt like my hand or skin was getting dry. Was great to have as a touch up.

3.Rahua Hair Care Samples . The lovely Ru gave me these to try the Rahua hair care line in which I had yet to try. Love the scent so f the product and made my hair feel good. But I can’t say that I would like them as I did not  feel like I can make a good judgement if it works for my hair type. But they sure smell great !

4.The following samples from Primial Pit Paste, Jadlener scrub & toner , HMW toner  where a no go for my skin or my body needs .

 

This stash had a lot of mix products but also some  fall out but happy that I got to try & continue to knowledge myself in what products works for me as a whole. That the fun part right !! Celcilia Wong is a person that I got the pleasure to know and meet within the green community. Her personal Skincare Line focus on healing within and out . And just in 2015 She re-brand her line to a beautiful chic and elegant look in which I got a chance to see in person during the Indie Beauty Expo  event . I am a big fan of the line & pick up a new toner since I was in a hunt for a new one . I got the Rose Serum Spray which is a very unique product as it is just like a spray toner but is filled with beautiful anti-aging extract ingredients that provide nourish elements for the skin to heal, rebuild inside & out .  I been using it for over 6 months and I just love this this product more and more in every use ! I am of course jump on it and got the refill compact to test it out .  AS you may notice in the photo above it got a look of love and its because I JUST FELT IN LOVE !  It give a medium coverage with a flawless look that is very natural looking in your skin. It does not make your skin dry neither does it get into fine lines or dry spot areas like  dry powers do. The man that We all love in Green Beauty  is “Josh Rosebrook ”  !!

I am  fill with great joy & grace for 2015 for getting to meet  & share time  with  Josh this year during some of the green beauty events  .  His hair products are know for been the best and been effective in getting that great hair .  5. Meow Meow  Tweet Limited Edition Deodorant Cream, Baking soda Free in Lavender Scent

Meow Meow is one of the brands in my collection  that been in my shelf since they first launch and continues to cover my shelf today ! It been amazing to see Tara & Jeff & their two   Cat’s owners of Meow Meow tweet grow over time & expand to new heights  ! So much so that I think they have their cat town up in Up State New York Now  !

This year the brand has been expanding their brand  with their new  pumpkin mask , soaps and much more including a limited edition product for fight of Breast cancer  benefit fund  the  baking soda  free lavender scent Deodorant ! A product that had me with excitement as I been crossing fingers & toes that they would launch a new scent . This year I got the great chance to discover Brooklyn as I did a lot of short trips  and make a lot of great discoveries include going to the official space of where magic happens in Brooklyn Candle Studio !  These candles are  hand crafted made with  100 % soy wax and scented with essential oils .  By the way the their studio smells like heaven on earth . I pick up the  travel size pumpkin  candle  as a pumpkin lover that I am I had to have it . The scent is just like been out in a fall day as a freshly baked pumpkin pie gets pulled out the oven , it smell just like this ! By far the best candle scent  that has you spice up all year long ! an’t wait to pick up more of these candles and try new scents because they real add that touch of home  even when your traveling from state to state . A new  staple in my farm house is Brooklyn Candles studio !!

This serum called  my addition quickly  as I looked at the whole line of products that are all beautiful . Yet this little one just Spoke to my Pumpkin love !

This serum is made for all skin Types & focus to treat Age Spots as well as Instant glow . In which Pumpkin is know for in improving due to having  high nourish Vitamin B  &  C   that help with improving skin tone &  increase cell turn over. In less words its Food For your Skin  in this bottle.

A serum that is “Food Glow” for skin

This Renew Pumpkin Serum is and has become one of my favorites due to its amazing combination that includes : Rosehip, Pumpkin seed oil , Lavender Extract, Carrot root, Comfrey, Fennel , Sunflower  , just to name a few of the great ingredients in this power house . All that are great for healing & caring for one skin special during the cold months head in the East coast.

Its really is “Food Glow” for the skin as putting on three drops only , as this serum  last very long as little goes a LONG way !! Has kept my  skin happy with a natural glow in which is a sign for me that my skin is getting the nourishment that its needs in the middle of season change .

Light & Perfect

It addition to been a serum “food for your skin” best part  is  that its a light oil that sinks right into your skin . Does not leave skin overly shine or creates a top layer, it really just sink in so nicely !  Can’t Highly state that enough about this oil !!! With that say  it makes a great Per-makeup face oil to help Power makeup look flawless & avoid  flacks.

Every where we look Now We see Pumpkins as the season of pumpkin is in high gear as Fall season arises !!! One of my favorite season as you just want to get almost everything Pumpkin , well almost everything 🙂 . Happy to bring you this second edition of Pumpkin Madness that got started last year !!! I message my face going  in circles motion until my Face looks Like a Pumpkin Face :)!! so much fun too !! I think it makes for a great Halloween face 🙂

Pumpkin Happy Face Indeed !!

The mask feels gentle but yet you know its functioning on your skin as you feel it !! I leave it on as I finish up this Post for 10 to 15 minutes . Then I rise it off with a wash cloth to remove it with warm water. Given me a result of a healthy looking skin and LOVE how it nourish my dry spots on my skin  !!! which is a big issue for me during this time as the temperature Here in PA can’t decide if it was to be 60 or 25 degrees !!

This mask is a full on trick or  treat  treatment for my skin as it LOVES PUMPKIN and has results to having less breaks and a more brighten complexion skin !!! THIS PUMPKIN FACE MASK IS MY NEW STABLE IN MY SKINCARE ROUTINE shelf  !!!

Natural Product Expo East 2015 Coverage Report : Baby & Kids New Product Launches !!

 

Reporting back from Natural Product East Expo 2015 !!

One of the biggest expo events that happens across the U.S is the Natural Product Expo , where  Organic, Natural brands gather together in one big space to present their product to the market ! This is not a public event and is only open to buyers, press and businesses market only ! But this year I got call in to come and cover the event as press 🙂 , something that I am very honor to get the chances to experiences been a green blogger ! So of course I took the 3 hour trip and head out for a weekend of all green things !

What Makes this Expo so important …..

Other then bring together brands from around the world and having a chance to present their product to the market ! It is also show case how the green market is moving & what is a head for the feature !  As the event also show case break session in where top brands, business , press  and much more  discuss the market and give a over view of what is next to come !

In addition to the hundreds and hundreds of brands owners & business present !! Just to give you a idea its four full floors of a convention space full of brands !! yeah crazy right !

The event takes place for 5 to 4 whole days of break out sessions and a chance to tour the whole space of brand show cast .Of course between all their session of fun music & food events happening .

Report 1 : Baby & Kids Products that are launching !

 I  am excited to see more & more non-toxic baby product launches this year as I find their is a need for more baby lines ! I AM  HAPPY TO REPORT THAT BABY NOW HAVE MORE PRODUCTS PICKS , I AM SURE THIS WILL MAKE MANY MOMS SMILE 🙂  .

   At the  event they presents their new Blueberry cereal that is organic & gluten-free as seen in photo above . I got to try it and it was really good all I need was some milk 🙂 . In addition they also had new cookie snack flavors as seen in the back with the new packaging  , which  I am loving for on the go !

This is a well know baby line of products that is love by many moms . It was exciting to see the owner and get to chat with them about  products including their new addition to their line baby line .

Sensitive  Baby Sunscreen Products  : New launches !

The new products include two new sunscreen that are made just for very  sensitive  skin . It contains a clear Zinc  has no fragrances and  great nourish ingredients. In addition to having a higher SPF  to better protect babies while out doors .

TESTING IT OUT: I got to try it and the product is very gentle & smooth without leaving a white layer in the skin . It actually felt really nice !
